Pre-Lab Procedure B: Calibration of a D’Arsonval DC Voltmeter You are going to design your very own analog DC voltmeter capable of measuring voltage in the range of 0-5 V. This is known as a 5 V full-scale voltmeter. Your voltmeter is constructed using two components shown in Figure 7 below: a D’Arsonval meter movement V2, and series resistor R.
